When eating street food or any type of food for that matter, there is always the chance of getting sick.<\/span><\/p>\n
I conducted a survey in Washington Square Park on whether or not anyone has ever gotten sick from eating street food. <\/span><\/p>\n
Seventy percent of the locals said that they have never gotten sick from eating street food. Thirty percent said they have gotten sick from it, although all of them said that they have continued to eat street food.<\/span><\/p>\n
All 30% of New Yorkers who have gotten sick from eating street food said that they had eaten from Mexican food carts. The meals they ate consisted of fish and chicken tacos and burritos.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
